I have purchased two beautiful working dogs from Hollenhund German Shepherd and I couldn't be happier with the experience!
I purchased my first working dog, Hera, two years ago. From day one Cassandra and Martino have been there to support me and help me with my dog. I went through a rigorous review process before they decided that I was capable of handling a working German Shepherd. The first time I met them I easily spent 3 or 4 hours just talking about the breed and training. They definitely had a love for working dogs and are responsible in placing their pups as well. I have no doubt that I could phone them in the middle of the night with a problem and they would help in any way that they could!
When I purchased Hera from Hollenhund 2 years ago I was a green handler with absolutely experience handling a working dog. I ended up deciding to purchase from Hollenhund because not only were their dogs beautiful they also had incredible drive! I knew from spending time with Piper and Maverick that any dog I purchased would be capable in doing what ever work I decided to throw at it. I also loved that Hollenhund offered a lifetime support and training for my dog. I knew I would need help to develop my dog into the dog I wanted. I also had no problem that they would pick the puppy for me, and they did a wonderful job matching me with the perfect dog! Hera has been an absolute gem. She has beautiful drives and uncompromising confidence. She would jump off a cliff if I asked it of her! She is also short coupled and athletic with incredible conformation.
It has been such a pleasure dealing with Hollenhund during the process of purchasing and training Hera, that at the beginning of the year I decided to purchase another dog. I didn't even bother to look into purchasing from another breeder, I knew that Hollenhund German Shepherd would provide me with another perfect dog. Hera is the perfect sport dog and she loves people. With the next pup I was looking for more civil drive as well as a sporting dog. So I decided to purchase a pup from the last Dragon/Tori litter. That is when I purchased Nyx. Nyx is very much like her father Dragon. She has the civil edge I was looking for as well as having beautiful toy and food drive. She is still young and developing but I see great potential in her! She has incredibly smooth movement and beautiful conformation. She will be a little bigger than Hera, I believe, but she will still be small enough to continue training in French Ring. Nyx is also smart and watchful, and with the right training will make an uncompromising sport and protection dog.
Hollenhund German Shepherds has a wonderful breeding program and I can't wait to purchase another working dog from them in the future.They sold me two beautiful dogs that are driven and eager to please. They made the process easy and enjoyable. As well as handling all the paperwork quickly and efficiently. I received CKC registration for both of my dogs within weeks of picking them up! I would recommend Hollenhund German Shepherds to anyone looking for a German Shepherd that is capable of working and/or being a family pet as well as being beautiful and structurally sound!
On a side note, Hera and I trailed in our first ever trial this past weekend. Hera received a SD-S Special title. As well as placing 2nd overall in her class, 1st in interior started searches, and 3rd in exterior started searches, with a 96% score overall. I personally wouldn't have been able to do it without Cassandra and Hollenhund German Shepherds! I look forward to a continued future training and handling Hollenhund German Shepherds.

I purchased Ransom as a 12 month old that was just a little too small for Cassandra to keep as a breeding male. I was looking for a dog that would be competitive in agility and the fact that he was small made me inquire and eventually go out and meet him. I had basically given up on the idea of owning a German shepherd because I could not find something that was athletic enough, it seemed like no matter how hard I looked all I could find were big (85lb+) German shepherds that wouldn't even come close to actually being competitive in agility. I was very impressed with how athletic all of cassandras dogs were, I've met lots of working line GSDs and these were by far the nicest I have met! I pretty much fell in love with Ransom immediately and she let me take him for a week long trial so that I could test him out training wise and see how he got along with my other dogs. I was very impressed that she had suggested this and it made it extremely clear that she really cared about him and his future success. I was immediately blown away by how well he handled my dogs, my house and just everything that was thrown at him in the first few days. His temperament is to die for! He has handled everything since I've gotten him with ease, even when he is a little uncomfortable he just sits back and assesses the situation until he is comfortable (which has only ever taken a few minutes). He is aloof with strangers, checks new people out and then they basically don't exist to him. He has zero noise or environmental sensitivities. His toy drive is fantastic and he is actually able to think and work for a toy while keeping his brain connected to his body. That's a tough feat for any dog and is downright amazing for a German shepherd. I've met lots of very athletic, powerful German shepherds (and own one) but I have honestly never seen one that I would consider to be agile, (like a border collie or malinois) I would definitely consider Ransom to be as agile as any other breed of dog. I love that when he is working, he is thoughtful and doesn't frustrate easily. He's one of the smartest dogs I've ever worked with, picks up things immediately and retains very well. He is extremely biddable and is a joy to take anywhere. He truly is a go anywhere, do anything dog. He is always super stoked to do anything and is generally a very happy dog. He has made me fall in love with the breed all over again, in the short period of time I've had him I have developed a very deep and special bond with him that I've honestly never had with any other dog. I can't say enough good things about how much Cassandra clearly cares about her dogs and her breeding program. It's rare to find a breeder as objective as she is, that truly is trying to take the breed in a better direction. I always liked her breeding program from what I saw online and in person I'm pleasantly surprised to find that she's successfully making the goals of improved athletic ability, solid temperament and exceptional working ability a reality. I'm also very impressed with her training, Ransom is extremely well behaved and well trained! His foundation for sports is fantastic, I couldn't have done a better job for what I wanted if I had I done it myself.

Cassandra is a very experienced trainer who produces great quality in breeding and overall performance. I support this Breeder and would recommend Hollenhund German Shepherds to anyone! Her pups exemplify what a Shepherd should be. She is constantly striving to better herself as a trainer and to improve the breed by focusing on genetics, health, conformation and ability. I could not be happier with my pup who is already showing a promising future!! and will continue to do business with Cassandra for years to come!

I currently have a Dragon × Piper female and I couldn't be ANY happier with her. The natural drive and tenacity, but also the handler drive is amazing. Exactly what I wanted when I explained to Cassandra what I was looking for prior to purchase. Cassandra is an extremely knowledgeable breeder and trainer and offers amazing lifetime support. I would send anyone looking for a working dog to Hollenhund GSDs!!

Al just scored an excellent on his rads he has an amazing bite, a turn on turn off switch that makes him versatile on and off the field.

We have a 6 month old beautiful bicolour male from Cassandra. He is an absolute gem. I talked to Cassandra before getting a puppy from her, and told her what kind of fur baby we were looking for. She matched us with our Teto perfectly. He is so good with our kids, and we get constant compliments and raves about him. He is not only beautiful, but smart, protective, and gentle. I appreciate that I have lifetime support with Cassandra, and will be taking Teto to see them for training when he's older. I would definitely recommend Hollenhund Kennels, and look forward to seeing how Teto continues to grow with our family.

My girlfriend and I have bought two pups from Cassandra. Our first was from the Tori and Viking litter in early 2014, Cash was absolutely amazing...this dog had amazing drive, could catch any ball you threw, was becoming quite awesome at tracking and was overall a quick learner and an amazing dog. Sadly, Cash was stolen from us in July, and we were absolutely devastated. When Cass says that she is going to be there for you every step of the way, she really does mean it. She was absolutely amazing to us, before, during, and after we lost Cash. She made numerous phone calls and posts trying to help us find our baby, and is still keeping her eye open months later. We can't express our gratitude enough.
We were lucky enough to be offered another pup from Cass shortly after loosing our boy. Although this was a hard decision, we decided the house was just too quiet and if we were going to get another dog we should just jump right in! This October we welcomed Deakyn, a Havoc and Viking pup! We cannot say enough good things about this baby!! He is amazing, he has amazing drive, is so very protective of his people, is an amazing companion, and loves to work (and play). He is absolutely amazing with our smaller dog (Yorkie/Havanese) and with children. The both of us have learned so much from Cassandra, and can honestly not express how grateful we are that we found her, that she has been through all of this with us! Cass loves her dogs, and all the puppies she sells. She strives for greatness with every dog she breeds and sells. You can't go wrong buying from her or training with her! Our little girl is a Hollenhund German Shepherd. She came to us at 9 months old and we've had her for 6 months. Miss Milja von Hollenhund is a treasure. Naturally we've had a few bumps along the way but Cassandra has been there for us every step of the way. Her knowledge and understanding of these beautiful animals is amazing and in watching her interacting and training it's evident that she has a deep, caring love and respect for every one of her dogs. We have an open line of communication with Cassandra and she has always been available to answer questions and give advice and help. I love knowing that I can turn to her for any questions and she is genuinely interested in Milja's well being even after coming to live with us. Milja is smart and gorgeous and loving and we are proud to have her in our lives. She can be a clown and she makes us laugh every day but she is also all business when she is patrolling the yard and is an excellent alert dog. Good breeding, good genes and a caring, loving start in life is evident in these beautiful dogs.

Cassandra Beach, the owner of Hollenhund German Shepherds, has always told me how great German Shepherd’s are. I have known her family for the last 12 years and it was easy to see how loyal and well trained her dogs were. They were also very majestic and beautiful but I always thought that they were too big for what I was looking for. I really didn’t understand the breed and viewed them as aggressive police or protection dogs, not potential family members.
A few years had passed since our boxer had died and my daughter and I had decided to look into once again adding a fury member to our family. We looked at dog after dog and breed after breed. We even brought one home on a trial bases. The weeks passed by and we just hadn’t found the right fit for us. Cassandra knew that we were looking and always put in a gentle pitch about German Shepherds. She had always told me that she would love me to have one of her dogs. In response I said “nah, just too big or I just don’t have the time for the demands of that breed” (or so I thought). In response to my uneducated response, Cass would tell me how amazing Shepherd’s are and how she breeds for temperament as well as desirable working qualities. She said her dogs make loving and loyal family pets no matter what the secondary purpose might be. She always ended by affirming that whatever I thought was best for me was the right choice but shared that due to knowing me, she thought a Shepherd and I would be a good fit.
My interest was tweaked so my daughter and I decided to go and see Cass’ pups. While viewing, Cass put on a demonstration with her well trained Shepherd Maverick. He was the father of the litter we were viewing. One minute he was at my feet loving my affection and then on command he was latching onto a thickly padded arm. It was amazing to see his passion to obey, to perform the task requested of him and the control when commanded to release. I was interested. With a few “come on dad!” prodding’s from my daughter we decided to give a Shepherd pup a try. We picked a beautiful little guy with a medium coat. It didn’t take long for me to fall in love with him. Seven months later I can honestly say “he is the best all-round dog I have ever owned.” He is highly intelligent, affectionate and his overall disposition is very calm, unless I get him going of course. He plays on demand and is absolutely in love with my kids. On top of that, he continues to develop into a beautiful dog. Another important point for many is that he was house trained faster than any other dog I have owned and his level of attentiveness and response to commands is second to none even at a young age.
Without doubt, I recommend Hollenhund German Shepherd’s and especially Cassandra Beach’s expertise with the breed. She has always made herself available if I have a question or concern and she offered training with the purchase of my boy Reicher.
I too have come to appreciate the old adage, “If it’s not a German Shepherd, it’s just a dog.”

I own two of Cassandra’s German Sheppard’s both from the same litter, male and female. Jade and Vadar are beautiful and exceptionally well tempered dogs with wonderful personalities. I don’t train them for protection or tracking though I ca...n tell you they would strive to excel at any challenge put before them. Companionship, loyalty and competitiveness obviously run deep within their blood lines. They live within our family harmoniously and add to our quality of life every day. I've had many dogs over the years and these two find ways to impress me on a regular basis.

Just wanted to thank-you again for the beautiful puppy, he is so smart and such a pleasure to have in our family, he is wonderful with our little dog and the grand-kids, he already sits, downs, shakes a paw and comes. No one who has met him hasn't loved him, we constantly get stopped by strangers so they can look at him and pet him. We are looking forward to having him in obedience and continuing his training in September.

l We had a problem dog he comes by it naturally being a 155 pound Labrador named Roman we should have known better than to call a dog Roman it certainly gave him a sense of royal entitlement and attitude. Anyway we came to Cassandra and asked her to help us we wanted another dog to complete our dog family and we knew that he needed to be shaped up. As a family we entered into obedience training and before we knew it we were the student, and Roman just came for the ride as a family we learned the art of leadership and how to attain what we wanted through correct leadership and balance I mean really Cassandra you give the dog whisperer a whole new meaning our dog was strong willed, stupid, rebellious and well it warrants being said twice he was stupid. As it turned out he was longing for leadership and a change we had made him into the proverbial "other child" and while he needed love and devotion, he craved leadership more now it is official Roman is obedient, adjusted and dare I say a genius? While he still has Lab moments he truly has become a joy he used to have a look in his eyes, when I think of it "sweet child of mine" from Gun's n roses comes to my mind he was missing something I thought it was brain matter but really he just needed some obedience and drive now he is the dream dog and he has lost 40 pounds (that is right my dog was an emotional eater and he is happy and he has a zest for life thank you Cassandra you probably saved his very life, cause if we had to live like that anymore one of us was running away and it might have been him...
